Product Description
SignalsMobile is a new application that runs on a PDA or Mobile Phone using Windows Mobile 5 or 6, and allows a user to remotely monitor and manage SCATS(*) from virtually any location.
SignalsMobile incorporates a convenient subset of the functionality of other desktop SCATS User Interfaces (e.g. SCATS Access), but in a portable, practical and user-friendly hand-held format.
SignalsMobile interfaces to the SCATS Central Manager computer system using a TCP/IP connection This may be a dialup GSM connection to a modem attached to the SCATS network or by a GPRS or 3G VPN connection through the internet.

Search Facilities, Link & Split Plan information, Strategic Monitor data, Intersection Graphics, User Messages, System Notes, Intersection Detector Data, Cycle Information, System Alarms, Link Mode, Phase Demands, Intersection Flag Data, Lamp status and more are all available from the user interface.
Security
SignalsMobile incorporates a secure interface to the SCATS system, and all control functions are through the use of SCATS keys. Only users with the correct allocated privilege levels can use SignalsMobile to adjust parameters for intersections that are connected to the SCATS system.
