    <title>TRIPS installed in Auckland, NZ</title>
    <description>Advantech Design have been engaged by Transport New Zealand to install the TRIPS travel time prediction system in the city of Auckland. TRIPS is providing valuable real-time travel time prediction on the critical Airport-CBD Route, which comprises two motorways and a large section of arterial road. TRIPS is also providing important reporting data on travel speeds, congestion and delay information to Auckland Transport staff.</description>

    <title>Travel Time Prediction contract awarded to Advantech</title>
    <description>Advantech design have recently been awarded a two-year contract to supply Travel Time Prediction on Arterial Roads using the TRIPS Travel-time Reporting and Integrated Performance System product.&amp;nbsp; TRIPS calculates predicted travel time using data taken from the traffic signal system, and feeds the resultant data to the VicRoads computer network for display and review, and includes live updates of travel time data on the VicRoads traffic web site.
Advantech Design were awarded this contract through a competitive tender process following successful shortlisting at an Expression Of Interest procedure undertaken in June 2011.
The TRIPS system continues to prove itself as a world-leading application for real-time travel-time prediction on arterial roads.</description>
