Transcend controlling VSLS on M80

Transcend is now controlling Variable Speed Limit Signs on the M80 Motorway in Melbourne. Transcend has been teamed up with our TRANSNet product to provide Secure 3G Wireless communications to a number of signs along the motorway. The Traffic Management Centre controls and monitors the signs - reducing the speed limits to a safe level while roadworks take place. The multi-operator graphical user interface allows secure management from multiple locations and multiple operator terminals.
The use of the TRANSnet system provides fast and convenient rollout, and allows sign locations to be reallocated with ease if required.
